Here I am sitting in the lab typing away cause my class is cancelled. This is getting annoying cause my Consti class has been cancelled twice. MLS once and no my BEL class? I don't really blame my lecturers cause I know that she's sick. And I hope that she will get well soon. The bad part about cancelling class is that you have to replace it with another one. To make matters complicated, not everyone is available on a specific time making it hard for a replacement class to be carried out.
First of all, I would like to wish Happy Merdeka Day to all Malaysians. Hope that our independence will be remained forever. Well, I'm not going to post any patriotic stuff cause you guys probably read about them already. The way you guys celebrate it basically up to you. Heck, I don't even celebrate it. Call me unpatriotic but I believe that patriotism is very subjective. Patriotism isn't about waving the Malaysian flag and singing patriotic songs. It isn't about not accepting job offers overseas and remain here. It isn't about supporting Malaysian team in the Olympics. It's about loving your country unconditionally. It's about defending your country's sovereignty when it's threatened. Foremost, it's about remembering and appreciating our ancestors' sacrifices to bring what we have now: Independence. See, I'm babbling about patriotism. Sorry about that.
Anyway, the Law faculty organised a Merdeka Lawfac Futsal Challenge 2008. The event was nice and there were lots of participation from the students. My duty on that day was to take pictures of the events. Needless to say, most of the pictures ended up really badly. Bad angles, got people blocking here and there and shakiness of my hands. I so have to practice to take more pictures. However, there are some pictures that turned put okay. I hope Deeba and Fuad won't kill me for bad pictures. On that day was also Lilly's birthday. She is part of the organising committee for the event. Lilly, if you know about my blog and happen to read this, I would like to wish you a very happy birthday and hope your wishes and dreams come true. We had cheesecake from Secret Recipes and found it very nice and not nauseating. Well, you can count on Secret Recipes to have non-nauseating cheesecake. Since I was in a hurry, I just gabbed the cake and sent my friend, Along back to Jati. When I return home, I was so tired so I showered, had dinner and slept really early. It was a very tiring day but I enjoyed myself.
Anyway, happy fasting to all Muslims. May this year's Ramadhan will be cherished and used to the fullest to collect rewards from Allah. I would like to apologise for any wrongdoings that I've done.
Based on my friend's blog, I decided to make one for myself.
Who are you? Well, my name is Diyana. Just a girl. You can call me Diyana, Deann, Yuffie, Chobits or Yana, Di, Yan and soemwhere along the lines.
Who gave you those nicks? My friends.
You like to write don't you? Yes, I do. I have a few unfinished fiction projects that I'm working on.
Why don't you camwhore like your friends? I'm not good at camwhoring like they do. Plus, I look terrible in pictures.
Are you saying that you are ugly? No, I'm just saying that I'm not photogenic. Call me ugly one more time, I'll slap you. I'll slap harder if I think that you're way uglier than me. Gila tak sedar diri (so blind about yourself)!
What do you do? I'm still studying. Taking up law.
Wah, lawyer man! Must be hard right? Yeah, it's kinda hard. Facts to read, cases to remember, issues to be aware of. You'll get the hang of it.
Do you like, have a boyfriend? Hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :: Falls off the chair laughing :: This happens to be everybody's favourite question and everybody gets the same answer. No, I don't have one.
